What to Do After the 4th Gym in Pokemon Radical Red

Pokemon Radical Red is a fun yet challenging ROM hack that can sometimes leave players unsure of what to do next.

After defeating the 4th Gym, many trainers find themselves wondering what comes next.

But don’t worry, just like in any great Pokemon game, there’s always a way to keep the adventure going!

Once you’re done with the 4th Gym, you’ll get stopped at every point by guards because they’re thirsty.

There are also those sleeping Snorlax blocking your path, but don’t worry, because we’ll tell you what to do and where to go to proceed.

What’s Next After the 4th Gym in Pokemon Radical Red">

After beating the 4th Gym Erica, you’ll be wondering where to go. At this time, you need to go to the 5th Gym Leader, Sabrina. The question is, how can you get to Saffron City? 

All the entry points, the guards will not let you through because they’re thirsty. It’s a bit of a lengthy process, but here are the things you need to do to progress:

Go to the Game Center and Enjoy or Not

If you have money to spare, head to the Game Center in the lower right. After beating Erica, the Game Center should be open. 

There are NPCs there who will sell you some Pokemon for a price. They’re a bit expensive, so why not use our Pokemon Radical cheats for unlimited money?

If you don’t have the money and don’t want to cheat, then skip this for now.

Starting the Team Rocket Hideout Section

Head to the left entrance of the Game Center. Talk to the Team Rocket Grunt there, and it will spark a battle. 

After you beat him, you need to interact with the poster on the wall. An entrance will open to the right, and you need to go down. This part is very straightforward, as you just need to go down to the lowest floor.

Once the Team Rocket Grunt gives you the Lift Key, head back to B2F. Ride the elevator, and you’ll be in B4F.

Fight the remaining Team Rocket Grunts, and you’ll be fighting Giovanni. He’s going to be a bit of a tough fight, so be sure to have your best Pokemon.

Once Giovanni is defeated, pick up the Silph Scope and leave the hideout.

Getting the Tea

Once you’re back in Celadon City, head to the Celadon Mansion. 

Go to the floor in the image below where this old lady NPC is. Talk to her, and she will give you the tea that you can use to get past the thirsty guards. They will let you regardless of which guard you give the tea.

Head to Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town

When you have the Silph Scope, head to Lavender Town. If you didn’t have the Silph Scope at the time, the enemy Pokemon would appear as ghosts that you couldn’t fight.

Now that you have the Silph Scope, those ghosts will become enemy Pokemon you can fight and catch.

Go to the top floor of the Pokemon Tower where you will fight a Marowak along the way. Whether you catch or knock it out is up to you.

If you plan on catching it, then don’t knock it out since it will not come back. After the Marowak fight, proceed further and more Team Rocket Grunts will fight you.

Once the Team Rocket Grunts are defeated, talk to the old man in the image below. He will lead you back to his house and give you the Poke Flute, and you’re done here in Lavender Town.

Saving Silph Co.

When you have the tea and Poke Flute, you can now head to Saffron City. Use the Poke Flute on the Snorlax to fight and catch it if you want.

Heading into Saffron City, you need to head to the Silph Co. Building. This is another area to traverse, but there are no annoying puzzles here. 

You’ll be fighting Giovanni again, and he’s still just as tough.

Once Giovanni is defeated, head to Floor 11, and a scene will happen where Brendan will .

It will then be a double between you and Brendan against Team Rocket s Archer and Ariana. This will be another grueling battle, but not something you can’t handle.

Getting the Master Ball and Finishing Things Off

After the series of battles in the Silph Co. Building, meet up with the president. He’ll give you a Master Ball for all of your efforts. 

If you want Master Balls, try using our Pokemon Radical cheats. Head to Sabrina, and you’re back on track.

In Closing

You don’t have to wonder what to do after the 4th Gym in Pokemon Radical Red. It’s a lengthy process and something that you can’t rush.

You can’t also skip some of the steps, since you need the tea and Poke Flute to move forward.

Even using cheats like walk-through walls isn’t ideal. You may cause the game to bug out when certain events are not triggered.

That being said, take your time in this part since it isn’t a short endeavor if you want to proceed in Pokemon Radical Red.
