Pokemon Black is one of two games that introduced Generation V to the whole world. The game was released back in 2010, marking the game nearing its tenth anniversary.

  5. If i catch other trainers pokemon even if i catch 2nd,3rd 4th pokemon it always shows i caought the first pokemon . even the pokedex and my box also shows that i caught the 1st pokemon of the opponent. is there any fix for that?

  13. Hey for all tm/hm i need to use both batches? How should i create 2 seperate codes or one just keep on using the second batch after the first?

    • After disabling the cheat, restart your game or if it doesn’t work exit the game and reopen. Give it a try, that works most of the time.

    • You can edit your savefile of the ds indtead of using codes.
      There are some websites and apps where you can edit your items , money, pkmon stats and even shiny mons

      • I don’t know why, but when I enter the heal items code, a lots of them goes to the HM/TM bag, and becomes useless. It also completely messed my run, because I couldn’t get any HM/TM anymore. Is there a way to fix this?

  25. Hey my guy hows it going, me again droppin some love with a little gift. This code cheat is for Pokemon Black ONLY and its to get the Liberty legitimately and to go Liberty Garden to catch mythical pokemon Victini.
    First fly to Castelia City and stay infront of the Pokecenter and insert the cheat. Once done save in-game and do a soft reset. Once done walk in to pokecenter AND while WALKING IN press {L,R,Start,Select} one time and the deliveryman should be on your left in all blue looking like a mail man. Careful tho because the Liberty WILL replace your first item with it so make sure your first item is a trash one. Once you get the Liberty from him walk out and go all the way to the left pier and talk to the guy by the boat and he will notice you have a Liberty right away and there u go. You will have to fight a few team plasma guys before encountering Victini. Goodluck.
    THIS CODE WORKS 100% I TRIED IT AND IT TOOK ME TO LIBERTY GARDEN AND CAUGHT VICTINI.
    I also got a few SS if you want them let me know how i could send them your way.

    • Hey not sure if you’ll reach out to this, I’m playing Pokemon Black via OpenEmu using the Desmume Core (not sure if any of that matters) but when I’ve gotten the code in and did the save and soft reset.

      Yet when I do the {L,R,Start,Select} as I step up and into the Center, it just resets my game back to its last save. Even when I’ve gone in, I don’t see the mail man…not sure what I might be doing wrong? Thanks if you can give any help or if anyone else can chime in!

      • I’m not a fan of OpenEmu; it doesn’t fully cheating. Have you tried using mGBA or Retroarch? In my experience, cheats work well with these emulators. Hope this helps.

  26. Cheats suck and doesn’t let u enjoy the game in its fullest. Honestly u would enjoy ur achievements more if u play fair like I use set mode and use the same number of items and pokemon as my opponent which makes my game the best . Of course u r entitled to ur own opinion but believe me u won’t enjoy it

  33. It took me a while but i managed to make a rare candy code for both versions. This will give 900 Rare Candies in the first slot of your recovery pouch. Press L + R to activate.

  42. So I am using the DeSmuMe emulator to run Pokemon Black and I used the all badges cheat and got to the badge check gates but can’t because it says that I don’t have them. How do I fix it?

    • Hi there Martinelplayz. I don’t think that’s possible especially on 3DS, but if it can Action replay cheats then the cheat should work.
