Pokemon Hyper Emerald is a hack of Pokemon Emerald. There will be a couple of Pokemon Hyper Emerald cheats that you can use.

Update: The game has been updated, and since version 5.5, it has been translated into English.

If you are also familiar with the Pokemon items, you should already know which items are based on the icons.


Hyper Emerald uses elements of Emerald but has many differences. The roster of Pokemon is bigger, and the stats and types are updated. If you know Pokemon Emerald cheats, you’ll see that the cheats below are almost the same.

That’s because Hyper Emerald is based on Pokemon Emerald, so cheats from the regular Pokemon Emerald game can work in this game too.

They have Pokemon from beyond Generation III. That being said, here are a few of the cheats that you can use in the game. Always to turn them on and specify them as Game Shark (Action Replay) or Code Breaker.

I found that item cheats are working and I’m playing on the 5.6 version. The cheats are simply the same as the cheat above:

    • Hey there. Unfortunately you can’t pair the gender modifier cheat and shiny cheat. That’s not possible. If you wish to another gender or new nature of your shiny Pokemon, restart your game and reactivate the shiny cheat and keep the same process until you get your desired Pokemon’s gender. That’s the only working method for now.

      • I just tried out both codes, and I can confirm that they both work as noted.

        The respective codes allow wild Pokemon encountered to have 31 IVs in all stats and gives them Pokerus.

    • Thank you for returning, pal. In my testing, I noticed that the regular Poke Ball actually has a higher catching rate than the Master Ball, believe it or not. It’s quite unusual, but I believe that’s how the game works, lol.😂

        • Honestly, I don’t recommend using John GBA emulator with cheats. Though cheats can work, but in my experience some do not work. I suggest using MyBoy if you wish to take advantage of using cheats.

  36. Okay everyone, so… So far the code that is not working is like Items,TM/HM, hold items, and masterball,and berries and etc.. Since l tried those code and other code for pokemon emerald genesis its working actually…
    For example.. Rare candy code in this web its not working since its origin from pokemon emerald.. While the one l used the cheat code is actually come from pokemon emerald genesis beta(version 2.1),so yeah thats all l know. (I hope master ball cheat working someday, and the rest items as well!).

  37. My only problem issues is the master ball cheat code, since it will crash the game, and l have other code for it which in PC.. But still not working.. So both code are like useless for me. (Seriously l have tried this in both different gba application)!

    • Hi Idk, I have updated and replaced the old master ball cheat code with a newer one, so the master ball cheat should now work. Give it a try again!

The ones on the list are for the previous version of Hyper Emerald, but many of the current codes still work, except the walk through walls and other item cheats. I’ll try to find more cheats for this game.
