Pokemon FireRed Rocket Edition is one of the most popular ROM hacks around. Playing as a Team Rocket grunt is just as enjoyable as stealing Pokemon from other trainers.
If you like playing more as the villain, you can try playing Pokemon Team Rocket Edition Dragonsden version.
Pokemon FireRed Rocket Edition and Dragonsden are not connected with each other since one of them uses a FireRed ROM base and the other is Emerald.
Dragonsden is inspired by Pokemon FireRed Rocket Edition, where you play as a Team Rocket grunt as well, but with a different story.
That’s where our list of Pokemon Team Rocket Edition Dragonsden cheats can come in when you want to use them in the game.

82024DBC 00FF
This cheat will allow your Pokemon to get an unlimited amount of Exp.
IMPORTANT: This cheat is a bit buggy because you need to press the A button to get the Exp. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. If it worked, make sure to turn off the code to stop getting any more Exp. Try restarting your emulator can help to get the cheat working again.
Max Stats

How it works: Apply this cheat to give your Pokemon in your party with Max Stats. To avoid future issues, as much as possible, activate only one cheat at a time and disable them after using. Save game progress using in-game saving before applying.
You might get a Bad Egg after activating this cheat. If that happens, just deposit it into your PC storage Box to get rid of it.

We just got some awesome info from one of our readers, Chris, about the in-game cheating feature, and it blew us away! Thank you Chris.
This feature has almost everything you’d want to save time on grinding and add extra fun to your game, like walk through walls, max money, all TMs, and a lot more.
You can even change the Effects and Music using this feature. It’s definitely worth checking out!
Press “R” and “Start” to access in-game cheating feature

Accessing specific cheats
- Walk through walls = Flags > Collision
- Max Money = Give X > Max Money
- All TMs = Give X > Give All TMs
- Receive Items = Give X > Give Items XXXX
- Wild Pokemon Modifier = Give X > Pkm(l,s,n,a,IV,move)
- Level Modifier = Give X > Pkm(lvl)
- Heal Party = Utilities > Heal Party
- Fly to Map = Utilities > Fly to Map
- Accessing PC = Access PC
- Change trainer name = Utilities > Trainer Name
So far, these are the cheats I find most useful in the game. If anyone knows other helpful cheats that I haven’t included, feel free to share them, I’d love to add them to the list above!
I haven’t explored the Scripts and Variables options yet, so if someone could explain how they work, that would be a huge help.
During my testing, I ran into a strange issue where my character changed into the female character, May (see image above). I couldn’t find any option to switch back, but luckily I didn’t save and was able to reload an earlier save file.
What’s your experience with the in-game cheating feature? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.

Key Items in Bag or Mart (Shared by Karussel)

Item appears in bag
82026E18 YYYY
82026E1A 005A
Item appears at mart
82005334 YYYY
How it works: Pick your cheat and use only one at a time. The cheat has two different versions. The first cheat adds the item to your bag automatically, while the second requires you to buy it at the Mart.
The first cheat, “Item Appears in Bag,” may look a little glitchy and appears first in the key items section with a glitchy name, but it works perfectly when you use the item — in my case, the Master Ball. Just make sure to disable the cheat after using it, as it will keep duplicating the item if left on.

That’s all the Pokemon Team Rocket Edition Dragonsden cheats we could muster. Like many Emerald decomp hacks, we are searching for other methods and means to get more cheats.
Maybe you have some that might work. Feel free to hit the comments, and we’ll be sure to credit you.
We have hundreds of cheats for various Pokemon games and Pokemon ROM hacks. If you want to reduce grinding in your favorite Pokemon games, cheats can be very helpful.
That said, we’ll keep this list updated if more cheats become available. We’re especially on the lookout for Pokemon modifier cheats, and anyone is welcome to share any valuable cheats they find for this game.
Code for Unlimited PP
Heya! So we all know about the Magikarp glich right? You should be able to get one at a specific pokecenter for $500, but i guess they forgot the part where you receive the fish…(My guess would be that this one would have surf pre-installed.)
So my question is, is there a Magikarp cheat?
Hello Eastoff, sorry but there’s no wild pokemon modifier cheat on rom hacks created using decomps or pokeemerald like this game.
I got a bad egg and whenever I try to store it it turns my pokemon into bad eggs how do I perm delete the bad egg
Hi there, Calisweeze. You can usually get rid of a Bad Egg by depositing it into a PC Box. However, if it’s turning your other Pokémon into Bad Eggs when you do that, it’s likely the result of a glitch caused by a cheat still being active.
Here’s what you can do:
If you made a backup or saved your game before using the cheat, the safest option is to reload that earlier save to completely remove the Bad Egg issue. Let me know how it goes!
Is there a way to get bond/-& pokemon other then your own Zubat?
Thanks for responding PokeCoder! It is indeed strange since there’s no cheats activated and I rarely use it.
But I found a workaround, by doing suggestion from below comment “pressing R and Start” it helps me build Deoxys from scratch with good stats and move set though he can barely survive a hit compared last time. I guess Deoxys is really too fragile in this game.
Thanks for the help! You guys are great!
That’s awesome, Trainer! I haven’t explored the in-game cheating feature that much myself, but it’s great to see you got exactly what you wanted for your Pokemon. I’m really glad you found a workaround using that feature. I’ll be updating this page to include more about in-game cheating, I believe it can be a big help for future players!
Anyone know the cheats or item code for tms from heavy slam onwards??
Hi BakaMitai, thanks for coming here. I believe you are viewing the “Community Shared Cheats” section. Our most updated cheats are found at the top of the list. See “TM and HM” section, it’s all there.
I experimented and found that with Rocket’s codes for TMs, one can buy different types of terrains and HMs from Team Rocket mart and a lot of HM’s are 0$ if not all.
Starting at 82005334 02BA with Electric terrain then 02BB Grassy then with 02BC Psychic and 02BD 4th, Misty terrain, after that we have HM’s with first being Cut 02BE, then Fly 02BF, starting at 02C0 is surf and then 02C1 Strength, 02C2 Flash, 02C3 Rock smash, 02C4 Waterfall, and last 02C5 being Dive. Hope this helps!
Hello PokeCoder! I just got Deoxys from Giovanni. Can anyone suggest the best moveset and equips? Everytime I use it, it always get one hit by enemy despite having eviolite or assault vest, I even improve the stats for def and spd from rocket hq. Also, tried to change diff nature to see if there’s different. If I dont 1-hit the enemy or make the first move, deoxys die so easily in the game. When comparing the stat to my other pokemon he has greater stats but still so fragile even getting hit by not effective moves by enemy still fainting so quickly even if the level is 10x higher than enemy.
Hey Trainer, thanks for stopping by! I can’t recommend a specific moveset just yet, but hopefully other players can help out – anyone here can help Trainer?.
About Deoxys fainting too easily, even with boosted stats and good items, that’s quite strange and might be caused by leftover effects from cheats.
My suggestion is try disabling all cheats, save using the in-game save, and restart your emulator. This usually clears up any issues. Let us know if that helps!
Yeah, literally none of these work. That’s disappointing
I hope this helps if no one already knew, can get another menu that is helpful by pressing R and start, that menu can help you walk through walls, heal party, access PC and other options
Hey Chris, thanks for sharing that information and this is surely a huge help! Let’s see if we can get some from other players on this.
– Has anyone else tried this? Did it work for you? Your would be greatly appreciated!
Tried it today. It works. Thank you, Chris !
Amazing! Thanks for ing Crevette. I tried it, and indeed it works! However, I couldn’t seem to find the settings to Walk through walls. Anyone here knows where to find it?
It’s on flags menu called ‘Collision flag’
Amazing, thanks for that information, Kirbyz. It indeed works!
Exp cheat doesn’t work in iOS delta
Hey Ray Ray, welcome back! I noticed that as well. Activating the EXP cheat can be a bit tricky—it sometimes works perfectly, while other times it doesn’t. I’m still trying to figure out the exact cause of this inconsistency.

Hi Jacob, give this cheat a try for Exp Share, go to Pokemart and purchase the first item in the list. Let me know if this works for you.

PokeMart codes just doesn’t work for me
Is there a way to get walkthrough walls?
Sorry, Cyko—but at the moment, Walk Through Walls cheats aren’t possible for many ROM hacks, especially those built using the Decomp engine, like this game.
I found walk through walls (collision) go to flags, press R and start at same time, also gives you other options, like heal party, access PC, etc
Any updates on a money cheat for the new update?
Hi Valley, the cheat perfect works! I tried it myself to the latest Johto version. Are you having issues activating the cheat?
I’m trying to use the Exp. cheat to work using mGBA but I can’t seem to get it to work… :/ I’m not sure if there was something else I have to add to the code or not. I don’t get enough exp imo so I really want to use this cheat to at least get my team caught up to the boss I’m at.
Any updates on a money cheat?
Hey Anthony. I’m super sure the cheat works! I tested it myself to the latest Dragonsden Johto version. Try it.
Are there any updates on the money cheat?

Hey Ray Ray, thanks for sharing this! I tested the cheat, but it doesn’t seem to work consistently—or only works occasionally. I’m using the latest Johto version on Delta for iOS as well. Can you confirm if it’s working on your end?
Let’s also check with the community:
— Has anyone else tried this cheat? Did it work for you? Your would be greatly appreciated!
Well, I’ve come to the conclusion it only works with special attacks, not physical ones. Haven’t quite figured out why. Also there’s sometimes a resistance against special attacks from enemy Pokémon in a super effective attack. Cheats are fickle.
Ah, I understand now. Please keep us posted regarding any updates on this instant kill cheat. I’ve added the cheat in the list above.
Ability Patch is 0399
Hey Punk, thanks for coming here and thanks for sharing the Ability Patch cheat! I’ve added the code with your credit. Please keep the codes coming!
It’s says ??? Or should i wait in Johto region
The mint codes in the list are all -1 at the end if you use the current adamant mint codes up here you will get naughty
The cheat codes have been updated now! Enjoy!
Doesn’t seem like any of the codes are working on the new english version. Anyone having any luck?
Hey RMOracle, I’m currently working on updating this list for the latest version which was released last April 30, stay tuned for updates.
There has been a new update and it broke the Kill cheat(it soft locks you) and ‘money’ cheat. It also changed the IDs for things like the Rare candies and the rocket stones.
65 = rare candy
New Evo stones
df = sacred stone (added this update)
e1 = Rocket Stone
It looks like everything either got pushed back one or moved forward one ID
Hey there, thanks for letting us know about the new version of the game and sending these updated codes, keep em’ coming. You’re completely correct! This is very common with ROM hacks—whenever a new version is released, many of the cheat codes can change. They might get changed forward or backward, which is why some previously working codes may no longer function as expected.
Is there a cheat for unlimited PP?
I couldn’t find all the mints but i managed to find a good amount
(Edit: Cheats added to the list above – PokeCoder)
Amazing! Thanks for these codes, Rocket Boss. I’ve added them to the list above.
So for the rare candy at the mart it says to put 0066 but that is extra small candy that doesn’t work past level 15. But if you put 0065 it’s rare candy. Just a FYI
Hi there Tyler, thanks for that information. Can you please confirm if you are using the latest version of the game, which was released on April 30, 2025? Thank you.
Im in Silph co and when I receive the card key. It doesnt show it anywhere and when I try to use it in door it says it requires card key. My key item is full of full restores and Master Balls. What should I do? Does it mean I cant continue because of codes? I tried to deleted codes But it doesnt help. Can someone help me?
I just found the code today for the key in case you still need it, you can buy it in the rocket mart for 0$ .
82005334 0303 card key
Hope it helps!
Any available codes/cheats for card key for silph co? I tried a legit way and the dude won’t actually give the key, I am stuck for 3 days in Silph Co, talked to every person and cop in the building, followed all the clues given and nothing.
On floor 6 i got it just fine
I tried and he said he gave me the key but I don’t have it
This happens when you use the cheat codes a lot at the same time. Cheat code like for unli rare candy tends to appear a lot in your key items. You need to create a new save file and when you are using cheat codes, use it one at a time and disable it if you are not gonna use it so then your items on your bag won’t mess up. Hope this helps.
I’m sure there are more cheats especially for items I have to experiment more with my set of hexes I am starting from 1 though to go through everything ill post the docx file when I’m done….
Hi Karussel, thanks for stopping by! Feel free to share your cheats with the community—we’ll make sure to give you full credit. Thanks in advance for your contribution!

Thanks for sending the link for the code, karussel. I have tested the cheat, and it works perfectly! I added the codes to the list above. Thanks for the share.
Btw, I sent you an email and please check it whenever you can.

I should complete this in the next few days.
Hi Karussel, thanks for these. The game just updated after you submitted the cheat codes. I know this is disappointing, but I believe updating these codes is important. Let me know what you think.
Does anyone know a cheat for move Moonblast? I want my Clafable to know a good fairy type move
There’s also debug mode in Spanish where you can activate walk through walls teleport to random location get all poke dex get what ever pokemon you want you need to do is press R+start at the same time
Do you know if they work on English mode? Did you try them out?
